This office/retail building previously occupied by The Maori Development Corporation, had more recently suffered a chequered tenancy history, with the failed Modern Age English School. Finstar undertook a $1 million dollar refurbishment of the property commencing in June 2004. This provided strata titles for two retail units and 6 office units (approx 300 sqm each). All units were sold to a mixture of owner-occupiers and investors by September 2005.

Glengarry Building, Sale & Wellesley Street

This building and the adjacent vacant land site was purchased in 2001 under a sale and leaseback arrangement from Glengarry. The vacant land was on sold prior to unconditional date and the Glengarry Building sold shortly thereafter with a new 10 year lease in place.

This 2864m2 lot on the corner of Sale & Union St was purchased in October 2002. The site provided various types of office/warehouse buildings. The property was strata titled into 3 principal units along with a future development unit, and resource consents obtained to allow higher and better use for the buildings. The property was sold in November 2003.
