Eden 6

The Eden Business Park sits near the centre of Auckland, approximately 1.5km to the south west of the central business district. Situated to the north west of Mount Eden, the Business park is close to SH1, Mount Eden Road and the north western corridor, with direct links to Britomart.

The vision for Eden Business Park master-plan is to create an active urban centre, with a mix of uses including mainly commercial, retail and social facilities all focused around a landscaped Plaza in accordance with the master-plan.

Finstar has been appointed by ORCHARD NZ LTD to act as development manager for the development of Eden 6. This will be a minimum 4 star green rated building providing 7500sqm of office / retail accommodation due for completion in mid 2009.

Mercer Country Stop,S.H.1 - Service retail centre

A 6 ha site south of Auckland on State Highway 1. Redevelopment and upgrading of the existing service centre was completed in February 2007. An additional 4ha of commercial vacant land is available for ground lease or development.

Existing Centre

Clendon Shopping Centre, Auckland

This was an existing neighborhood centre dating from the early 1980’s which had progressively been constructed on an adhoc basis to eventually provide a series of building joined together by vaulted canopies. The property along with an adjourning Hotel was purchased in mid 2005 providing a combined site area of 4ha and 10,000sqm of gross leaseable floor area. Substantial upgrade and reconfiguration resulted in the demolition of 1200sqm of retail space to open up all faces of the centre to the streetscape. A further 3000sqm of new buildings were added, providing a remixed centre of over 50 tenancies.

The property was sold in mid 2007 with Finstar engaged in a development management role overseeing the project through to the mid 2008 completion date.
